考点一、 answer 的用法

(1)及物或不及物动词 , 有"答复、回答、应答、接电话"等含义。

Please answer some questions.

请回答一些问题。

I asked an easy question but no one answered.

我问了一个简单问题但没人回答。

Could you answer the telephone for me? 你能替我接个电话吗？

(2) 名词 "回答、答复、答案"，the answer to……表示"对……的回答、答复"、"……的答案"，切记不能用 the answer of ……

I'd like to get the answer to the question.

我想要知道这个问题的答案。

What's the correct answer to this question?

这问题的正确答案是什么?

考点二、watch 的用法

(1) 名词 "手表"，复数形式 watches。

(2）及物动词 "注视、观看"强调"专注地看"，有欣赏的意味，常用于看电视、看球赛等。

作为感官动词 watch 还可表示观看事件发生过程或正在发生变化的事件。

有以下两个结构：

watch sb. do sth. 观看某人做（过）某事

watch sb. doing sth. 观看某人正在做某事

The boy watched the monkeys climbing up and down.

男孩注视着猴子们爬上爬下。

Do you often watch them play football on the playground?

你经常看他们在操场踢足球吗？

(3) watch 与 look, see, read 的用法区别

这四个词都有"看"的意思，但是"看"法不同:

① look 不及物动词，表示"有意识地看" ，强调"看"的动作。如果跟宾语，要和at连用。

Look! The bus is coming. 看！公共汽车就要来了。

Look at the blackboard, please. 请看黑板。

②see 及物动词，表示"看见"，强调"看"的结果

How many stars can you see in the sky?

你能看到天空有多少星星?

I looked carefully, but saw nothing.

我仔细地看了，但什么也没看到。

③read 及物或不及物动词，表示"看"时实际指"阅读"，常用于看书、看报等。

I like reading at home.

喜欢在家看书。

My father always reads newspaper after dinner.

我父亲总是在晚饭后看报纸。
