I prefer things…. 。。。
Buried.
Exactly。
That’s very British.
Cheers。干杯
exactly /ɪɡˈzæktlɪ/
Cheers! /tʃɪəz/ US /tʃɪrz/
It is very British.
Cheers
1 a friendly expression said just before you drink an alcoholic drink. People sometimes say "Cheers" to each other just before they drink an alcoholic drink to propose a toast. (用于祝酒)干杯 (used as a toast when drinking 用於祝酒) Cheers! Your good health.
Bottoms up.
2 UK INFORMAL used to mean 'thank you': 谢谢
"I've bought you a drink." "Cheers, mate."
3 UK INFORMAL used to mean 'goodbye':再见
"Bye." "Cheers, see you next week."
Cheers then. See you later. 再见!
Cheers! See you tomorrow night.
It can be used in both formal and informal situations; however, it's always (almost) only used as a one word sentence, as in:
— here's your hammer
—‘cheers’ OR ‘cheers for that’
— ‘cheers for getting my hammer’(你只可以说"thanks for getting my hammer")
A: Two gin and tonics please.
B: Here you are.
A: Cheers.
