A Production Possibility Frontier shows how much an economy can produce given existing resources. 生产可能性前沿显示一个经济体在现有资源条件下可以生产多少。
A production possibility can show the different choices that an economy faces. 生产可能性可以显示一个经济体所面临的不同选择。
For example, when an economy produces on the PPF curve, increasing the output of goods will have an opportunity cost of fewer services. 例如，当一个经济体在生产可能性边界曲线上进行生产时，增加商品的产出会有一个机会成本，即减少服务。
- Moving from Point A to B will lead to an increase in services (21-27). But, the opportunity cost is that output of goods falls from 22 to 18. 从A点到B点将导致服务的增加（21-27）。但是，机会成本是，商品的产出从22下降到18。
