1What do you like to do in your spare time?你在空闲时间喜欢什么？
1.1in one's spare time=in one's free time在某人的空闲时间
2What hobbies do you know？你知道哪些爱好？
2.1hobby[ˈhɒbi]可数名词，(业余)爱好。
3Hi Class!大家好！
We know everyone likes to have spare time.我们知道人人都喜欢有课余时间。
3.1know后面的句子为宾语从句。
3.2spare time业余时间。
4How do you spend your free time?你如何度过你的课余时间？
4.1spend的三种用法
①在使用spend时,主语只能是表示人的名词或代词。
Andy spent a lot of money on books. Andy花了很多钱买书。
②若表示"在......上花费(时间、金钱等)",常用句型spend some money/ some time on sth.,介词on后接名词或代词。
Kitty spends two hours on her homework every day. Kitty每天花两个小时做家庭作业。
③若表示"花费(时间、金钱等)做某事",则常用句型spend some money / some time (in) doing sth.,此时第二个动词要用动词-ing形式,介词in可以省略。
They spent 4450 yuan buying the big colour TV set. 他们买那台大彩电花了4450元。
另外,spend也有"度过"的意思。
They want to spend their summer holiday in the country.他们想去乡下过暑假。
4.2free time空闲时间;装卸时间;自由支配时间；业余时间
I don't have much free time.
我没有多少空闲时间。
Do you have much free time?
你空闲时间多吗？
5Do you have any hobbies?
你有什么爱好吗？
6 I like to exercise in my free time.我喜欢在我的课余时间锻炼。
6.1in ones' free time在某人的课余/业余时间。
7 I often go swimming in summer.
我常常在夏天游泳。
In winter, I like to go skating.
在冬天， 我喜欢滑冰。
Exercising is fun, and it also helps to keep us healthy.
锻炼很有趣，它帮助我们保持健康。
I enjoy playing ping-pong.
我喜欢打乒乓球。

8.1studying stars是动名词做表语。

9.1句中very interesting做宾语补足语。
find 宾语 宾语补足语中find的意思为“发现……处于某种状态”。
10Did you know the sun is a star?
你知道太阳也是一颗星星吗？
10.1注意know后的宾语从句陈述的是一个客观事实，虽然主句时态为过去式，但从句依然要有一般现在时。
11 It's the closest star to Earth.
它是距离地球最近的星星。
11.1注意形容词最高级前要用the。
12I collect stones.
我收集石头。
12.1collect动词，收集，收藏，集合。名词为collection，收集物，收藏物。
13When I travel, I always look for stones.当我旅行的时候， 我总是寻找石头。
13.1when引导时间状语从句。
13.2look for寻找，表动作。
14 If I find an interesting one, I take it home and add it to my collection.如果我找到一块有趣的石头，我把它带回家，加到我的收藏里面。
14.1add sth. to sth.把某物加到某物里。
add用法:
①add用作及物动词，表示"加；增加",常与介词to连用,即"add ...to...",
"把...加到...中去；往...中加..."。
If you add 4 to 6, you get 10.
4加6等于10。
Add some hot water if you think the coffee is much too strong. 如果你觉得这咖啡太浓,就加点儿热水。
②add 作不及物动词，表示"补充",即"又说；继续说"。例如：
Mother added that we must get back as soon as possible. 妈妈接着又说我们必须尽早回来。
③add to（add作不及物动词用）表示"增加；增添",其中to是介词,后接名词或代词。有时也可用来表示"(房屋的)扩建"或"(书的)续写"等。例如：
The soldiers were extremely tired and the heavy rain added to their difficulty. 战士们累极了,而大雨更是增加了他们的困难。
This old house has been added to from time to time. 这幢老房子曾一再扩建。
Has that book of his been added to later? 他的那本书后来曾续写过吗？
④add不管作及物动词（add）还是不及物动词（add to），都有“增加，增添”的意思，但是，add to 增加的内容似乎抽象得多（比如例句里的“beauty”“difficulty”），让人感觉稍微带了点感情色彩，而不是纯粹的增加某具体物（比如例句里的water）。

15.1Sb. be/become interested in doing sth.对做某事感兴趣。

trade sth. with sb.用某物与某人进行交换。
trade sth. for sth.用某物换某物。

那是一个很有趣的爱好。
17My aunt in Shanghai loves going to concerts.我在上海的姑姑喜欢参加演唱会。
17.1go to concerts去参加音乐会。
17.2in Shanghai介词短语做后置定语。
18I will ask her to keep her tickets for you.我会让她把门票留给你。
18.1ask sb. to do sth.要求某人干某事。
18.2keep sth. for sb.为某人保留某物。

19.1interest可数名词，兴趣，爱好。
19.2garden①名词，（住宅旁或周围的）花园，果园，菜园;庭园，园子;公园;公园;②做园艺工作，从事园艺活动;种植花木，（在园中）栽培植物;使成为花园（或菜园、果园等）;用花园点缀。
19.3watch movies看电影。
19.4 surf the Internet上网;网上冲浪。
20When we want to express our interests or hobbies, we can use the following structures:
当我们想表达我们的兴趣或者爱好时，我们可以使用下面的结构:
I like/enjoy...我喜欢……
I'm interested in...我对……感兴趣
My hobby is...我对爱好是……。
21. Some people like exercising in
the gym, and some enjoy running
outside.一些人喜欢在体育馆锻炼，一些人喜欢在户外跑步。
21.1like doing sth.与like to do sth.的区别:
like doing和like to do都表示”喜欢做某事”
①like doing sth表示长时间的喜欢做某事,指兴趣爱好.在意义上比较一般和抽象,时间观念不强,不指某一次动作;表示习惯上喜欢干某事 。例：
I like watching TV .我喜欢看电视.
Do you like singing 你喜欢唱歌吗?She likes swimming.她喜欢游泳.（经常性的,爱好）
I like eating fish .我喜欢吃鱼。(个人口味而已,一种爱好,喜欢）
②like to do sth 想去做某事（表示有个趋向性,好像是要到某处去做某事）like to do sth 则常指某个具体的动作,表示偶尔一次喜欢做某事、或者突然喜欢干某事。例如:
She likes to swim this afternoon.她今天下午想游泳.（特指某一次的动作）
另外,在搭配(使用方法)上,“ like to do ”一般与 “ would ” 搭配表示意愿。例：
I would like to swim with you .我愿意和你去游泳。
Would you like to skate 你愿意去滑冰吗?
21.2in the gym在体育馆。

22. She likes sports very much. She often goes skating in winter.

23.1sure后面的从句为宾语从句。
23.2be interested in doing sth.
对……感兴趣。
24.My hobby is collecting all kinds of tickets.我的爱好是收集各种各样的门票。
24.1 collecting all kinds of tickets动名词短语做表语。

你的爱好是什么？
A hobby is something you enjoy doing. A hobby is not a job or a school subject. It's not something you need to do. It's just something you like to do.
爱好就是你喜欢做的事情。爱好不是工作也不是学校课程。它不是你需要做的事情。它仅仅是你喜欢做的事情。
25.1you enjoy doing./you need to do./you like to do.都为定语从句修饰something。
• Do you have a hobby?你有爱好吗？
• Would you like to have a hobby?你想有一个爱好吗?

25.2build/make model cars制作小汽车模型。
• Do you collect things?你收集物品吗？
If you already have a hobby, talk about it! Bring your hobby to school and show it to your classmates.Talk about why you enjoy it.如果你已经有爱好,谈谈它吧！把你的爱好带到学校来并且展示给你的同学。谈谈你为什么喜欢它。
25.3show sth. to sb.把某物展示给某人。
