考点一、popular 的用法

popular a. 流行的; 受欢迎的;大众的。在句中接在系动词之后作表语或修饰名词作定语，

如： popular music 流行音乐 ； popular sport 流行运动

(2) popular 的比较级 more popular； popular 的最高级 most popular

more and more popular 越来越受欢迎

Tea is the most popular drink in the world (after water)。

茶是世界上在水之后最受大众化的饮品。

形容词最高级前通常加定冠词the, 但最高级前还有形容词性物主代词或名词所有格修饰则不加the。

Tom is one of my best friends. 汤姆是我最好的朋友之一。
