Completed in 2019 by New York firm Hanel Architects, the 32-story, 99-apartment Austin Proper Hotel is located in downtown Austin, Texas. The hotel has three restaurants, a private swimming pool and a concierge service. Kelly Wearstler has created striking details for the hotel, which incorporates eclectic retro elements around indigenous art and textiles to give the project a deep sense of culture.
