01 be动词选择
✦ there is :主语为可数名词单数（cn.）或不可数名词（un.）
There is a pear on the desk.
桌子上有一个梨。
There is some water in the cup.
杯子里有一些水。
✦ there are :主语为可数名词复数（cn.）
There are two pens on the desk.
桌子上有两支钢笔。
02 there be句型的时态
✦ 一般现在时：There is/are 主语
There is a book on the desk.桌子上有一本书。
✦ 一般过去时：There was/were 主语
There were one hundred people at yesterday's meeting.
昨天的会议有一百人出席。
✦ 将来时：
☀There is/are going to be 主语
There is going to be a meeting this afternoon.
今天下午将会有一个会议。
☀There will be 主语
There will be a meeting this afternoon.
今天下午将会有一个会议。
✦完成时：There have/has been 主语
There has been a house by that creek since two years ago.
那个小河边，自两年以前就有一座房子了。

✦ There must be…肯定有……
✦ There may／might be…可能有……
✦ There can’t be…不可能有……
✦ There used to be…曾经有……
✦ There ought to／should be…应该有……
✦ There must have been…一定已经有过……(表推测)
✦ There may have been…可能已经有过……(表推测)
✦ There appears／seems to be…似乎有……
✦There is/are likely to be…可能有……
✦ There happens to be…碰巧有……
✦ There is no use (in) doing.做……毫无用处
✦ There is no good (in) doing.做…毫无好处，没用
✦ There is no harm (in) doing．做……没有坏处
✦ There is no point (in) doing.做……没有意义，没用
✦ There is no sense (in) doing.做……毫无道理
04 There be句型的否定句
在be动词后面加not，否定形式变为：There be not (any) 名词 地点状语。
There is not any pen on the desk . 桌子上没有钢笔。
There aren't any books on the desk. 桌子上没有书。
05 there be句型的一般疑问句
✦ There be句型改为一般疑问句的方法：将be动词提到句首
There is a pear on the desk.桌子上有一个梨。
☞ Is there a pear on the desk?桌子上有一个梨吗？
【注：如果原句中含有some(用于肯定句)，要改为any（用于否定句和疑问句）。】
There are some pears on the desk.桌子上有一些梨。
☞Are there any pears on the desk?桌子上有一些梨吗？
✦ There be句型的一般疑问句回答：
肯定回答：Yes, there is/are.
否定回答：No, there isn't/aren't.
06 there be句型的反义疑问句
✦ 当be动词前无助动词时：be/be not there ?
There is a pear on the desk, isn't there ?桌子上有一个梨，是吗?
There is not a pear on the desk, is there ?桌子上没有梨，是吗?
✦ 当be动词前有助动词时：助动词 not there？
There will be a new school in our city , won’t there?我们城市要建一个新学校，是吗？
07 there be句型的用法与记忆口诀
就近原则：谓语与靠近的名词、代词在人称和数的变化上保持一致，由最近的主语的单复数决定。
例如：
There is a pen and two pencils on the desk .桌子上有一支钢笔和两支铅笔。
There are two pencils and a pen on the desk.桌子上有两支铅笔和一支钢笔。
08 there be与have的区别
✦ 相同：表示“有”时，既可用there be，也可用have：
How many days are there in July? 七月有多少天？
How many days does July have? 七月有多少天？
✦ 不同：
there be 强调某处有某物，不表示所属关系
have 强调所属关系，拥有......
There is a pen on the desk. 桌子上有一支钢笔。
I have a red pen .我有一支红色钢笔。
