1. 首字母大写
每一个独立的句子，第一个单词的第一个字母都需要大写
- She is a beautiful girl.
- I love apples.
- Hey! It’s great to see you! How have you been?
2. 人名
- My name is Michael Jordan.
- His name is Jonathan Mao
3. 大小地名（四大洋七大洲，国家，城市等等）
- Tom has left for New York.
- I was born in Canada.
4. 学校，组织，场馆，景点等
- She is currently studying at Harvard University.
- The Forbidden City is an amazing place.
5. 品牌
- My favorite fashion brands are Chanel, CK, Gucci, Christian Dior and more.
- I don't like McDonald.
6. 亲戚关系
1)做称呼语时
- When will dinner be ready, Mom?
2）亲戚称呼后面跟名字（特指某位亲戚）
- Please give this book to Uncle Mark.
7. 方向
1）做具体方向时（首字母不大写）
- Go south on the highway, and then take the third exit.
- Turn right, then left, then right again.
2) 当方向作为专有名词时
- Western Europe（特指德国，法国等）
- Far East(特指中国,日本等国家）
- Western technology（特指欧美国家的技术）
- The modern China has been greatly influenced by the Western culture.
8.语言，民族
- I speak English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and some French.
- John Smith is an American.
9. 称呼，职称
- Barrack Obama is the 44th President of the United States.
- Mr. Steven Johnson is the Major of Chicago.
10.歌曲，书，电影等标题 (虚词不大写）
- Pride and Prejudice is a classic novel.
- Rolling in the Deep is a popular song around the world.
- I've seen Captain America.
11. “I” 需要大写
- "I didn't do that," Peter said.
- I’m not going outside today (I’m sick).
12. 日期，星期，月份，假期
- I visited the museum last Tuesday.
- Your birthday is in March, right?
- The Dragon Boat Festival is just around the corner.
13. 大部分缩写
- Judy is an FBI officer.
- Does your cell phone have the GPS?
